Full Service History and massive history file of all works and maintenance with invoices totaling over £6000

Black leather interior with Alpina green and blue stitching and crests.

Two sets of genuine Alpina mats. One set used for driving and the other set bought by the previous owner for shows. I have never used these!

This is quite an unusual car in that it is a ‘non-Lux’ model but was specified with everything (e.g. cruise control, parking sensors, Isofix etc) that came on the Lux except xenons and the, now all but redundant, factory SatNav stuck on the top of the middle of the dashboard! A useful option maybe 20 years ago but hardly so today.

The previous owner also upgraded the sound system (as below – the stock system on the E85 is pretty poor) but this is pretty invisible. He also integrated a hands-free phone system into this but I have never used it.

The following is cut and pasted directly from the previous owner:

(Note:the official Alpina vanos modification has been done. Worth knowing about and factoring in to costs if considering one of cars and it hasn’t had this done.)

In excellent condition internally and externally with everything working as it should.

3 keys present and working correctly.

Alpina handbook, service book and wallet present

Alloys were stripped and refurbished in 2015 at which time the correct modified Alpina valves where fitted.

The original Alpina wheel nuts are in excellent condition

I have an additional as new set of floor mats which I use when showing the car.

The car has had an Alpine uprated speaker and amplifier system fitted by a previous owner with a Motorola bluetooth unit all linked to the factory head unit.

I have owned this car for the last 6 years and have covered approx 11,000 miles in that time.

It has been a joy to own but I have recently purchased another Alpina and so it is time for someone else to enjoy this great car.

The car was featured in BMW CAR Magazine in July 2018 along with my Z4M Roadster (yes, I own both). A mint copy of the magazine edition will come with the car. Also included is a commemorative certificate and card from when the car took part in a 50-Year Alpina Anniversary and parade-lap at Silverstone.

The roof works perfectly

The tyres are matching Michelin Pilot Super Sports with masses of tread (6 mm rear; 7mm front)

All manuals, both BMW and Alpina’s own, are present in the leather Alpina specific folder

All tools and accessories are present including the oil pouch for carrying an extra spare litre of oil

Two normal keys and the plastic valet key are present

It even has a spare unused original decal set!

The current mileage is 49,166 and it was last serviced at 47,636 i.e. 1530 miles ago. This on 26.2.19. However, as can be seen from the very minimal mileage in the last 4 years, the service indicator shows still 14,000 miles until the next service.

I am a BMW enthusiast and have been BMW Car Club member for over 40 years. I have owned many, many BMWs and indeed used to have a website of my own of the cars that I used to restore/renovate: bmwclassics Unfortunately, although still up, it no longer functions properly.

Due to a significant change in personal circumstances, this car has only been used very sparingly over the past 4 years.

Always garaged and kept on a battery conditioner.
